There is an interesting interview with Nellie Kim over at IGM that I thought you all might want to check out. I really admire her for saying that she understands both sides of the age issue. It’s one of the major parts of the article that I thoroughly agreed with. As for other parts I don’t know where I stand. On one issue like the body line, I get where she and the technical committee are coming from but at the same time I don’t like the fact that they eliminated the step backwards after landing. I think if used properly those look just as good as a stuck dismount and in may cases they’re just the same. What I don’t like is the leaping out of the landing that has started. Yes, I liked with Vanessa Atler but she was an exception. To me, the leaping out of a landing pass strikes as un-controlled.
Anyway go read the article, it’s a good interview!
